After 5 years of socials and 3 years of us as a label, New Atlantis is closing its doors. We wanted to give you one last parting gift, a free album of edits by JQ.

This album is a collection of tape rips from a 90s new age cassette label called 'New Beginnings'.

Some of the songs have been isolated to showcase the best part from a whole side of continuous material, others have been edited, such as being EQ’d and adding effects, or being sped up or slowed down. Some songs naturally shift tempo due to the age of the cassettes.

"The artist name 'Past Lives' is meant to represent the previous versions of the work, while 'New Beginnings' not only reflects the name of the original cassette anthology, but also this new collection.” - JQ

Any proceeds generated through album sales will be donated to The Trussell Trust (www.trusselltrust.org) a charity who operates the UK’s largest network of food banks.
